Lynx is my penultimate cosplay that I will be working towards. Now, I am a cosplay virgin currently, so I'm going with something simple that everyone does, Ash. Especially since the hat got me a date, among other things... *wink wink*.

Anyways, Lynx is fucking cool, greatest shoulder pads ever and his glidehooks.... oh my god he's just so amazing. I know it would be very difficult to get the face right, but I've seen it done really well and I will be working my ass off on this project.

Lynx is pretty awesome. Good news is, his face actually looks pretty human. That is, he doesn't have much muzzle, so a little paint can actually go a long way. Especially since he doesn't have anything intricate there.

Real challenge seems like the clothing. That's a lot of custom work, especially the hat. That could take a lot of fine tuning.

The problem with paint is that you can sweat it off pretty easily, especially in a hot con like the one we went to. And I don't want to have to go and reapply make-up half-way through the day. I think I'd much rather make a mask for the front so that I can just take it off when I need to breathe.

The clothes, yes... they will be difficult, but that's why this is a long-term project for me. I have no problem spending five years on this if I need to do so, and I really will have to since I pretty much just started sewing. Luckily, one thing I have in abundance is patience... well I guess time as well.
