Currently I have the hat, gloves and a pokeball to hang on my belt. All that's left is to make the jacket, get some pants, and a Pikachu and I'll be ready to go!

I think he has a green backpack. Darker body, paler lid, small. Not a huge detail, but you could actually use a backpack at those events.

Actually, I was planning on getting a new satchel bag, I don't mind breaking the costume a bit for a satchel bag. Those things are amazing, and you can fit in soo much it's ridiculous.
